Having a wonderful time here
at Wilderness
Campgrounds is simple. The workforce that runs this campground and the
competently operated operations will make you feel glorious. Many folks
stay at this campground so they can go to Banning State Park.
Such
a glorious pick of attractions and the glorious variety of outdoors
recreation will positively have you coming back many times a year.
While you're here at Wilderness Campgrounds you will meet lots of folks
from nearby Willow River, and it's a wonderful idea to take a stroll
through Willow River. Wilderness Campgrounds is extremely well esteemed
by the folks here in Willow River.
Some activities here at
Wilderness Campgrounds are hiking and walking trails, river whitewater
canoe rentals also fishing boat rentals, swiming beach and playground
for the kids so you won’t get bored. In Minnesota you never run out of
outdoors most enjoyable things to do.The yearly precipitation here at
Wilderness Campgrounds is about average for Minnesota; June is when you
get the most rain here while February is typically the driest
month.Moose Lake State Park is a delightful spot any time of year, and
a good site for whitewater paddling is the world known "wild and
scenic" Kettle River. Get your heart pumping in the early spring and
summer on the great whitewaters of the Kettle River or year round just
fish on the Moose Horn, and there are wet land wildlife walks
here too, The still wild Fox Lake, connected by a channel to
Long
Lake is in the vicinity as a canoe or fishing destination!
It's not very good for you to spend all your
time indoors; you have to get out of the house every so often; Wilderness Campgrounds in
Minnesota is a magnificent place to go.
Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Wilderness
Campgrounds get into the mid 80's. When the night sets in temperatures
sink down into the 60's and maybe mid 50's. For the duration
of
the winter the highs are generally in the 10's with some January,
Febuary winter lows in the -20's overnight here at Wilderness
Campgrounds. This
campground is so magnificent. Near by Banning State Park
is a great place to stretch your legs a bit, and hiking is a very popular
thing to do around Wilderness Campgrounds with many on site trails;
Herubin Truck Trail, the Willard Munger and Soo Line trails are great
near by trails to visit.
